A walking tour and discussion of the affordable housing proposals and possibilities

Are you passionate about creating more affordable housing options in our city? Wondering what the current proposals are for affordable housing on city-owned parking lots downtown? Interested in learning about the social, economic, and environmental benefits of housing downtown near transit, jobs, and services?

Then this event is for you! Be part of the housing conversation and learn more.

We will begin at Avenidas with a discussion of the affordable housing proposals with the developers, MidPen Housing and Alta Housing. Then, we will walk to two of the housing sites to hear more about the proposed developments and get a feel for the sites. The total walking distance will be approximately 0.75 mile.

After the walking tour, join us at Avenidas for refreshments and conversation with your friends and neighbors.
